Understanding, mitigating, and managing risk is at the forefront of how we do business, and critical to our current and future success. Risk managers help manage our financial reputations and regulatory performance, while working across the business to shape decisions, influence models and interface with regulators.
The nine-week summer program starts with a five-day orientation and training session in Indianapolis. Expert instructors and RRS Group professionals will teach you about our history, our products and the intellectual property that serve our clients. During training, you will learn skills that include valuation analysis, accounting, corporate finance, economics, equity capital markets, debt capital markets and risk analysis. You’ll build your technical and practical knowledge on-the-job with opportunities in one of the groups listed below.
Possible locations: San Francisco, Mexico City
Your Responsibilities:
- Performing analysis/due diligence on a counterparty/product
- Monitoring risk sensitivities
- Building financial models
- Contributing to analytical exercises
- Preparing reports to outline recommendations
- Assisting in evaluating market moves
What you'll do:
- Learn about risk at a premier global investment
- Understand the role of integrity and transparency in dealing with regulators, clients, and business partners
- Work collaboratively across the organization to find and solve problems
- Come up with innovative ways to solve challenges and answer queries
- Work on complex problems that require creative solutions
- Manage relationships with clients, regulators, and stakeholders
Internship Requirements:
- Full-time commitment for 14 weeks
- Official college transcript submission
About You:
- Key Skills: Exceptional quantitative, analytical and communication skills; Excellent project management skills; Strong initiative, energy, and confidence; Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; Knowledge of Excel and Word; Fluency in English; Coursework in finance or economics
- Education: Attend college/university in the U.S.; Expected graduation date of December 2025 – May 2026 from bachelor’s or master’s program; If pursuing a master’s degree, completion within 2 years of bachelor’s degree
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Work Authorization: Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
