Job Details

Opportunity: Join Guardant Health's growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team as a field-based Account Executive.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prospect and target healthcare providers to promote cancer screening (CRC liquid biopsy).
  2. Meet/exceed sales goals, maximize budgets, and execute national strategy.
  3. Drive business expansion with primary care providers.
  4. Develop and implement business plans aligned with brand strategy.
  5. Identify and partner with labs for phlebotomy draw agreements.
  6. Initiate and secure lab service draw agreements, and train on specimen collection, workflow.
  7. Analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback.
  8. Structure strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
  9. Manage promotional activities to support sales and marketing.
  10. Collaborate with sales team to ensure company goals are met.
  11. Represent Guardant Health culture.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years' experience in healthcare sales (diagnostics, medical devices, or pharma).
  • Strong closing abilities and proven performance.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills.
  • Ability to use consultative selling and overcome objections.
  • Maintain market, customer, distribution, and product knowledge.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Confidentiality and handling of sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce/Veeva preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with diagnostic product sales to primary care providers.
  • Product launch planning/execution experience.
  • Familiarity with primary care practices in assigned territory.
  • High-touch customer service skills

Compensation: $116,000 - $133,000 (USD) base salary, plus benefits (not included in range).
