Opportunity: Join Guardant Health's growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team as a field-based Account Executive.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and target healthcare providers to promote cancer screening (CRC liquid biopsy).
- Meet/exceed sales goals, maximize budgets, and execute national strategy.
- Drive business expansion with primary care providers.
- Develop and implement business plans aligned with brand strategy.
- Identify and partner with labs for phlebotomy draw agreements.
- Initiate and secure lab service draw agreements, and train on specimen collection, workflow.
- Analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback.
- Structure strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
- Manage promotional activities to support sales and marketing.
- Collaborate with sales team to ensure company goals are met.
- Represent Guardant Health culture.
Requirements:
- 4+ years' experience in healthcare sales (diagnostics, medical devices, or pharma).
- Strong closing abilities and proven performance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills.
- Ability to use consultative selling and overcome objections.
- Maintain market, customer, distribution, and product knowledge.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Confidentiality and handling of sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce/Veeva preferred).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with diagnostic product sales to primary care providers.
- Product launch planning/execution experience.
- Familiarity with primary care practices in assigned territory.
- High-touch customer service skills
Compensation: $116,000 - $133,000 (USD) base salary, plus benefits (not included in range).
