Contractor Adjunct Assistant Professor - General Ed

Online General Education Instructor needed for ASVN, BSN, and RN to BSN degree completion programs. Must teach courses under the Humanities division.

Responsibilities include:

• Instructing students and developing coursework.
• Improving instruction quality through innovative teaching methods.
• Revising syllabi and instructional guidelines.
• Evaluating student progress and providing feedback.
• Assisting with strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives.
• Maintaining student records (attendance, grades).
• Using the Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver content.
• Providing ongoing communication through office hours and electronic methods.
• Participating in professional development and maintaining CE hours.
• Participating in Quarterly Online Faculty meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree required; Doctoral Degree preferred
• Demonstrated ability to mentor students
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Previous online teaching experience using an LMS
• 15 completed credit hours in each assigned subject area
• Documented background in educational methodology and current teaching concepts.
• Experience with an LMS, especially asynchronous teaching, is preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
