Contractor Adjunct Assistant Professor - Nutrition

We are seeking an Online General Education Instructor.

Responsibilities:

• Teach general education courses in ASVN, BSN, and RN to BSN programs.
• Teach courses like: Anatomy & Physiology, English, Intermediate Algebra, Psychology, Public Speaking, Sociology, Managerial Statistics, Lifespan Development, History, General Chemistry, Organic Biologic Chemistry, Nutrition, Ethics, Political Science, Critical Reasoning.
• Develop coursework and instruct students.
• Improve teaching quality with innovative methodologies.
• Assist with syllabus and instructional guideline revisions.
• Evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback.
• Assist with strategic planning and assessment for program quality.
• Maintain student records (attendance, grades).
• Use Learning Management System (LMS).
• Provide ongoing communication via office hours, electronic communication.
• Participate in professional development and maintain licensure.
• Be committed to diverse student body.
• Attend online faculty meetings.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree required; Doctoral degree preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor students.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• Prior online teaching experience using an LMS.
• Documented educational methodology knowledge.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
