Contractor Adjunct Assistant Professor - Nutrition/Dietician

We are seeking an Online General Education Instructor to join our team.

This position will teach general education courses for ASVN, BSN, and RN to BSN degree completion programs. You will teach courses such as:

• Anatomy & Physiology
• English
• Intermediate Algebra
• Psychology
• Public Speaking
• Sociology
• Managerial Statistics
• Lifespan Development
• History
• General Chemistry & Organic Biologic Chemistry
• Nutrition
• Ethics
• Political Science
• Critical Reasoning

Responsibilities:

• Instructing students and developing coursework for assigned classes.
• Continuously improving instruction by reviewing and implementing innovative teaching methods.
• Assisting with syllabus and instructional guidelines revisions.
• Regularly assessing student progress, providing timely feedback.
• Collaborating on strategic planning and assessment for program quality.
• Maintaining student records (attendance, grades).
• Utilizing the LMS to deliver relevant and up-to-date course content.
• Facilitating ongoing student communication through office hours, electronic communication, etc.
• Participating in professional development and maintaining CE hours (if applicable).
• Participating in Quarterly Online Faculty meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean-Online Programs/Program Director-Online Nursing.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree required; Doctoral Degree preferred.
• Experience demonstrating student mentoring ability and strong verbal/written communication skills.
• Previous online teaching experience required using an LMS.
• Documented background in educational methodology (e.g., education theory, subject-specific concepts, or clinical practice experience).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
