Part-Time Adjunct Faculty - PhD Clinical Psychology (Travel Req)

Faculty Members are responsible for engaging with students in asynchronous Discussion Boards, grading assignments, answering student questions, and delivering 2 synchronous sessions per quarter.

Travel is required for the in-person component of courses and will occur in Minneapolis, MN for 7 days during the 12-week quarter. During the 7-day in person component, faculty should expect to provide in person instruction for approximately 4-5 hours per day.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching courses using the Blackboard platform.
• Responding to student questions within 48 hours.
• Providing asynchronous, synchronous, and in-person instruction.
• Participating in doctoral dissertation committees.

Requirements:

• Possess a Doctoral level Psychologist license.
• Earned doctorate in the field of study or closely related field.
• Experience in the practice of Professional Psychology (Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology or School Psychology)
• Three to five years of teaching experience at the degree level of the program is preferred
• Experience administering, scoring, interpreting psychological assessments preferred.
• Experience with a variety of psychotherapeutic interventions preferred.

Technology Requirements:

• Must be able to use Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), online meeting software such as Teams and Zoom, zip software, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Must have reliable Internet access.
