Contractor Adjunct Instructor - Anatomy/Physiology

We are seeking an Online General Education Instructor to join our team.

This position will teach general education courses in the ASVN, BSN, and RN to BSN degree completion programs.

Courses include:

• Psychology
• Public Speaking
• Sociology
• History
• Ethics
• Political Science
• Critical Reasoning

Responsibilities:

• Instruct students and develop coursework.
• Improve instruction quality by using innovative teaching methods.
• Review and revise syllabi and guidelines.
• Evaluate student progress and communicate progress timely.
• Assist with strategic planning and assessment of instruction.
• Maintain student records (attendance, grades).
• Utilize LMS for course content.
• Communicate with students via office hours, electronic communication.
• Participate in professional development (maintain CE hours).
• Participate in Quarterly Online Faculty meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree required; Doctoral degree preferred
• Experience mentoring students, strong communication (verbal & written)
• Previous online teaching experience required using an LMS.
• Documented background in educational methodology.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
