Contractor Adjunct Instructor - Anatomy/Physiology

We are looking for an Online General Education Instructor to join our team.

This position will instruct general education courses in the ASVN, BSN, and RN to BSN degree completion programs.

Courses taught include:

• Psychology
• Public Speaking
• Sociology
• History
• Ethics
• Political Science
• Critical Reasoning

Responsibilities include:

• Instruct students and develop coursework for assigned classes
• Improve instruction quality by reviewing and utilizing innovative teaching methodologies
• Assist with syllabus and guideline reviews
• Regularly evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback
• Participate in strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives
• Maintain student records (attendance, grades)
• Use LMS for course content delivery
• Provide ongoing communication via office hours, email, and other appropriate methods
• Participate in professional development, maintain CE hours, and stay current with college updates
• Demonstrate commitment to a multicultural and multigenerational student body
• Participate in Quarterly Online Faculty meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned by Associate Dean-Online Programs/Program Director-Online Nursing

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree required; Doctoral Degree preferred
• Demonstrated ability to mentor students
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Previous online teaching experience required utilizing an LMS
• Documented background in educational methodology consistent with teaching assignments
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
