McFadyen Digital is seeking an Adobe Commerce Senior Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Writing and maintaining Magento EE/Cloud modules.
- Architecting and proposing Magento solutions.
- Performing technical analysis of requirements.
- Training junior developers.
- Participating in pre-sales activities through POCs.
- Reviewing business requirements.
- Producing detailed technical designs.
- Writing clean, modular code.
- Triaging and fixing bugs.
- Contributing ideas for application improvement.
- Creating reusable components.
- Writing unit tests.
- Researching new integrations and plugins.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Magento System Architecture, Design, Theming, Functionality Enhancements, Configuration.
- Experience leading technical teams.
- Strong PHP and Magento skills (Object Orientated Programming).
- Strong experience with MYSQL DB.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- User-centered design process experience.
- Knowledge to customize Magento Themes.
- Experience creating modules (payment, shipping, etc.).
- Experience creating customizable plugins for Magento.
- Good understanding of Zend Framework (preferable).
- Full Stack skills are desirable.
- Good understanding of W3C compliant HTML and CSS.
- Good HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JSON skills & solid PHP programming background.
- Experience creating responsive web applications using Bootstrap.
- Experience in hand-coding JavaScript (ES5/ES6) and jQuery.
- Conceptual and implementation knowledge of MVC framework.
- Knowledge and integration experience with server-side communication using Ajax and JSON.
- Experience developing front-end applications and solving Cross-browser, Cross-platform, cross-mobile UI issues.
- Understanding of SEO and Accessibility compliance.
- Willingness to mentor and lead design and development initiatives.
- Ability to guide the team in all technical perspectives.
- Understanding of build tools like webpack, grunt, gulp.
- Exposure to Mirakl or other marketplace platforms is a huge plus.
- Experience in PWA is a plus.
