Base is building an onchain platform and needs a Social Media Manager to grow Base’s social footprint in Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Own Base’s social media presence in Africa and execute regional content strategies across X, Telegram, Instagram, TikTok and emerging platforms.
- Localize global campaigns for an African audience.
- Grow and engage the regional community: connecting with builders, creators and traders
- Monitor sentiment and trends in regional crypto markets and communities.
- Create and direct content and tailor to multiple social platforms
Requirements:
- Deeply immersed in crypto culture.
- Experienced in social media management (ideally 3+ years) in crypto, tech, or Web3 startups.
- Experience growing or managing crypto communities in Africa.
- Strong communicator.
Preferred locations: Kenya or Ghana. Possible locations: UAE or London
