Contractor Anaplan Architect - Remote

Role: Anaplan Architect

Duration: Long Term

Location: Canada/ USA- Remote (1st Preference to Canada)

Note: Overall 15 yrs experience needed, 5 years in Analplan

Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Anaplan Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Anaplan models.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary architect for Anaplan solutions, ensuring scalable and maintainable model designs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, test, and implement Anaplan models in line with best practices (DISCO methodology).
• Integrate Anaplan with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, BI tools).
• Optimize existing Anaplan models and processes to improve performance and usability.
• Provide strategic guidance on Anaplan roadmap, governance, and model lifecycle management.
• Train and mentor model builders and end-users.
• Stay current with Anaplan platform updates and assess their impact on business processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Anaplan, including at least 2 years in an Architect or Lead Model Builder role.
• Strong understanding of Anaplan model design, workspace management, and integration strategies.
• Anaplan Certified Solution Architect (preferred).
• Proven experience with enterprise-wide Anaplan implementations.
• Proficiency in data integration tools and APIs (e.g., Anaplan Connect, Informatica, Mulesoft).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in FP&A, Supply Chain, or Sales Planning use cases.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
