Part-Time Anglais Santé Course Lecturer

Course Lecturer for "Anglais Santé" program by Dialogue McGill

The "Anglais Santé" program, funded by Health Canada, focuses on building the capacity of bilingual health and social services professionals in Quebec to improve healthcare access for Canadian language minority communities.

The lecturer will develop and deliver virtual face-to-face English conversation workshops. The 16-hour workshop is delivered over 8 weeks, Monday-Friday, at 11:30am-1:30pm, 2pm-4pm, or 5pm-7pm/7pm-9pm.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing conversation content based on pre-defined learning outcomes and syllabus.
• Delivering virtual face-to-face workshops weekly, September 8th - November 3rd, 2025.
• Approving final grades.
• Meeting with students requiring accommodations.
• Updating content as needed.
• Assisting the supervisor with academic matters.
• Attending meetings and workshops.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in education with 2 years of experience teaching a second language to adults, preferably in healthcare/social services OR
• Bachelor's degree in education with 5 years of experience teaching a second language to adults, preferably in healthcare/social services.

Candidates must demonstrate teaching effectiveness. (teaching evaluations, letters of reference, or other evidence).

Requirements:

• 16-hour virtual contact time per workshop.

Location: Virtual

Fall 2025 semester: August 29th to November 7th, 2025
