AECOM is seeking an Archaeology Technician for immediate employment in our Oakland, CA office. This is a part-time, on-call position.
Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities include:
- Performs fieldwork under supervision.
- Gathers and maintains records of scientific data.
- Assists with calculations, setting up and operating equipment.
- Inspects equipment and installations for compliance.
- Collects and enters data.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School graduate + 2 years of relevant experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with field methodologies.
- Completion of an archaeological field school.
- Experience with Geospatial technology including GPS and GIS.
- Computer proficiency including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- US Citizenship is required.
