Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architectural design of Origami platform solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions using the Origami platform.
Define and establish best practices, frameworks, and methodologies for the implementation of Origami solutions.
Ensure that the Origami platform is integrated seamlessly with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.
Guide and mentor development teams on technical aspects of the Origami platform, including best practices for configuration, customization, and platform optimization.
Oversee the entire lifecycle of Origami platform implementations, including planning, design, deployment, and ongoing support.
Review and validate the technical feasibility of project requirements, ensuring they align with the capabilities of the Origami platform.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Origami applications to ensure high availability and optimal system performance.
Collaborate with other architects and technical leaders to design end-to-end solutions across platforms.
Lead the selection of technical tools, technologies, and frameworks that complement the Origami platform.
Ensure all Origami platform solutions are developed with an eye on compliance, security, and industry standards.
Create comprehensive documentation for architecture, design, and deployment processes.
Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage new features or emerging technologies within the Origami platform.
Provide ongoing technical support and guidance post-deployment to ensure the long-term success of the implemented solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Technical Architect, with a strong background in implementing solutions on the Origami platform.
Expertise in designing, configuring, and optimizing solutions built on the Origami platform.
In-depth knowledge of insurance industry processes, including policy administration, claims management, and underwriting.
Strong technical background in software architecture, design patterns, and building scalable, secure, and performant systems.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their integration with the Origami platform.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, SQL, and RESTful APIs.
Experience with enterprise integration, working with third-party applications and data sources.
Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience leading Agile teams.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and clients.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other insurance platforms, such as Guidewire, Salesforce, or similar.
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
Knowledge of data modelling and data management in the context of insurance platforms.
Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
