Job Details
The Associate Data Analyst, Sourcing plays a key supporting role in the development and maintenance of web scrapers used to collect data. This role helps enable the automation of data collection critical to compliance efforts.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of web scrapers.
- Support the implementation of data extraction solutions using tools like Scrapy, Selenium, and BeautifulSoup.
- Write clean, well-documented code to support the development of automation pipelines.
- Contribute to the on-time delivery of assigned tasks, ensuring high quality and reliability.
- Keep up to date with regulatory and product changes and apply this knowledge to refine data scraping efforts.
- Follow defined coding standards and security protocols.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and compliance analysts.
- Work with senior developers to address technical blockers.
- Contribute to documentation and internal tooling improvements.
- Follow corporate security policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree/diploma.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in areas such as research and data, scripting, coding.
- Experience in SQL and Python, including libraries such as BeautifulSoup, Pandas, Numpy, Scrapy
- Experience using development tools and frameworks, including Git and Jira
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
