Full-Time Associate Principal Engineer, NodeJS

• Writing and reviewing great quality code
• Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analyzing the clients needs in the context of the project
• Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements
• Defining technologies, patterns and frameworks
• Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets
• Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
• Leading/supporting UAT and production roll outs
• Creating, understanding and validating WBS and estimated effort
• Addressing issues promptly and responding positively to setbacks
• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.

• Total experience 11+ years.
• Strong working experience in backend development using NodeJS (v20+), JavaScript, and modern databases.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL and query optimization
• Hands on experience in designing and deploying serverless functions with AWS Lambda.
• Hands-on with Amazon Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration
• Deep knowledge of microservices and software design patterns
• Exposure to authorization frameworks/tools like Okta, Permit.io, Ping Identity, or similar
• Good understanding of modern frontend frameworks with server-side rendering capabilities
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a proactive attitude
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
