Contractor Automation Engineer

• Design and implement custom automations, integrations, and UI extensions within HubSpot.
• Take ownership of technical components, such as custom-coded actions, API integrations, and data cleanup scripts.
• Contribute to planning, scoping, and client calls, offering creative solutions for HubSpot limitations.

• Designing, building, and optimizing HubSpot automations using workflows, custom-coded actions, APIs, serverless functions, CRM cards, and internal apps (mainly Node.js and Python).
• Creating and maintaining integrations between HubSpot and third-party systems via REST APIs, middleware, or custom scripts.
• Developing internal HubSpot apps, CRM cards, and extensions.
• Implementing automated data clean-up, property resets, and data syncs.
• Supporting subscription logic, deal automation, lead routing, and CRM schemas.
• Collaborating with Consultants and Solutions Architects.
• Acting as the technical lead on client projects.

• 3–5+ years of experience building scalable automations in HubSpot.
• Proficient in JavaScript and Python.
• Experience integrating HubSpot with third-party tools.
• Working knowledge in React, HTML, HubL is a plus.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, data modeling, and CRM structure.
• Familiar with version control systems (Git).
• Skilled at technical delivery and translating requirements into technical specs.
• Excellent communication skills.
