We are looking for a seasoned Backend Developer with strong expertise in Golang and extensive
experience with AWS services. The ideal candidate will excel in serverless architectures, distributed
systems, and data streaming technologies. This role involves developing and maintaining backend
systems that drive our applications, with a focus on ensuring high performance and reliability.
Experience: 5-8 Years
Location: USA/Remote (Candidates must have authorization to work in the USA)
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend services using Golang.
Design and implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and other AWS services.
Manage data storage and retrieval with DynamoDB, including handling DynamoDB Streams.
Utilize AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) for infrastructure as code.
Integrate GraphQL APIs to manage data requests and interactions.
Implement messaging and data streaming solutions using Kafka.
Develop and maintain search functionalities with Elastic Search.
Design and implement gRPC and REST APIs for efficient communication between services.
Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Must-Have Skills
Strong proficiency in Golang.
Extensive experience with AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, and CDK.
Knowledge of DynamoDB Streams.
Experience with GraphQL API development.
Familiarity with Kafka for message streaming.
Proficiency in Elastic Search for building search solutions, including creating indexes and
developing APIs to access indexed data.
Experience with gRPC and REST APIs.
Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Ruby on Rails.
Familiarity with additional AWS services and serverless technologies.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
pipelines.
