Are you a highly skilled and experienced BigCommerce Lead looking for an exciting opportunity? Join McFadyen Digital, a leading eCommerce marketplace solutions provider.
As a BigCommerce Lead, you will drive the development and management of our BigCommerce platform. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, deep e-commerce knowledge, and experience leading development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead development efforts for BigCommerce platform.
- Manage BigCommerce platform customizations, integrations, and third-party applications.
- Ensure platform optimization for performance, scalability, and security.
- Mentor and guide developers.
- Conduct code reviews and implement custom solutions.
- Integrate with other systems (ERP, CRM, payment gateways).
Qualifications:
- Deep BigCommerce development expertise (Stencil, APIs, themes/plugins).
- Strong front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (PHP, Node.js, Java) skills.
- Experience with RESTful API development and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud services, performance optimization, and serverless architectures.
