NBC Olympics is seeking a BOC Maintenance Core Manager. This is a limited term position with an estimated duration of 3 months between January 2026 – March 2026.
Responsibilities:
Willingness to work remote during pre-Olympics period and willingness to work onsite in Milan, Italy closer to Olympics Gamestime.
Responsibilities:
- Provide front-line support for core broadcast systems.
- Interface with BOC operators and supervisors, and engineering partners.
- Assist in configuration and system checks prior to the Games and help with teardown.
- Minimum five (5+) years of experience in live broadcast engineering.
- Experience in video and audio routing systems.
- Experience with video and audio transmission systems.
- Proficiency in general IP networking.
- Ability to read and understand broadcast system wiring and flow diagrams.
- Familiarity with broadcast signal test equipment and procedures.
- Familiarity with SMPTE ST 2110 standards.
- Experience in HDR workflows.
- Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience working on world-broadcast sporting event.
