Contractor Business Analyst - Insurance Operations

About the Role: We're seeking a motivated and talented Business Analyst for a 6-month FTC position. This role will report to the Global Head of Insurance Operations and work across multiple departments (Customer Engagement, Claims, Insurance Services, and Operations) to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to document processes and establish baselines.
2. Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate workshops for gathering requirements.
3. Analyze business problems, recommend solutions, and deliver projects.
4. Lead process improvement initiatives from start to finish.
5. Work with business and engineering teams to ensure operational requirements are incorporated into solutions.
6. Implement solutions using low-code platforms and automation tools.
7. Oversee the program of work with support from the Operations team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent documentation and process mapping skills
• Data analysis and visualization tool experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proven track record of process improvements
• Project management methodology experience
• Experience with automated/AI-enabled solutions
• Lean Six Sigma qualification or experience (preferred)
• Experience with low-code platforms (e.g., Power Platform, Zapier, UiPath)
• Experience as a business analyst in the insurance industry.
