One of our companies is currently looking for a Business Development Lead – AWS Expertise in the United States.

This is a freelance, part-time opportunity for a Business Development Lead with deep AWS experience to join a fast-paced, award-winning cloud consultancy. Over a 3-month engagement, you’ll lead AWS-focused outreach campaigns, generate high-quality leads, and help develop a scalable business development process.

Working closely with the CMO and sales team, you’ll play a key role in expanding strategic AWS partnerships and contributing to the company’s long-term growth.

This role requires a mix of hands-on sales execution, structured pipeline management, and campaign performance analysis.

The position may scale into full-time based on success metrics and ROI.

Accountabilities

  1. Generate 50–65 Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and 6–13 Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) via AWS-funded campaigns.
  2. Build and manage a targeted outreach pipeline focused on SMBs and startups.
  3. Collaborate with AWS sales teams to align on go-to-market strategies and partnership opportunities.
  4. Deliver weekly progress updates to the CMO and contribute to a comprehensive Q2 review of performance and scalability.
  5. Develop and refine outreach processes to support long-term business development efforts.
  6. Drive at least 1–2 closed deals during the 3-month pilot engagement.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within cloud, SaaS, or tech industries.
  • Direct experience working with AWS sales teams or executing cloud-focused campaigns.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both written and verbal.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on KPIs, ROI, and performance tracking.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable in a part-time/freelance role.
  • Must be available during core U.S. business hours and hold U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
