Job Details
Objective: Drive profitable revenue within the Graphics North America Division, focusing on Automotive DIY segment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop market value chain understanding & strategy for revenue goals.
- Lead programs to grow Automotive OEM segment sales.
- Generate campaign ideas, conduct market analyses, and lead commercialization programs (with cross-functional teams).
- Understand sub-segment market sizing, trends, & application opportunities.
- Complete Market Opportunity Analyses for strategic application areas.
- Strengthen relationships in focused market channels (material, platform, design engineering).
- Provide product recommendations, technical support, & problem-solving throughout the Automotive value chain.
- Establish pricing programs & strategies for optimal product positioning & share growth.
- Uncover & assess customer & value chain needs, aligning solutions.
- Report forecasted demand, market trends, & unusual fluctuations impacting service & strategy.
- Identify new accounts (networks, digital marketing, referrals, prospecting).
- Develop strategies based on market conditions (customers, potential customers, competitors).
- Manage contracts & internal function coordination.
- Assist in developing divisional strategic & operating plans.
- Represent Avery Dennison at market events/networking events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Business preferred)
- 6+ years commercial experience (Key Account Management, Product Management, or Marketing preferred)
- Experience selling to pressure-sensitive & automotive aftermarket preferred.
- Strong skills in developing sales penetration & customer growth strategies.
- Passion for customer happiness & value delivery.
- Strong teamwork abilities.
- High energy, ambitious, goal-oriented.
- Strong computer skills (Google Suite & Salesforce.com).
- Ability to travel (at least 50%).
