Full-Time Career Coach

We are looking for a Career Coach. The ideal candidate will have experience and possess the following attributes to fulfill this role: Generate referrals, build strong referral pathways, induct, assess, and on-board participants, and provide high-quality information, advice, and guidance on employability programs. Promote and develop participants' mindset, emotional intelligence, self-confidence, and esteem. Prepare CVs, cover letters, and job/apprenticeship applications, introduce a strengths-based recruitment approach, and prepare for job interviews. Undertake job search using web-based software and packages. Short list, pre-select, match/submit participants to vacancies/work experience, and prepare job packs. Prepare participants for interviews, and arrange interviews where needed. Engage and maintain regular contact to ensure job/apprenticeship sustainability (minimum 6 months), delivering high-quality in-work support. Ensure participant progression into apprenticeships and employment. Support job fairs, workshops, and seminars (both in-person and remote). Proactively work with other organizations and the local community to identify support and opportunities for clients.
Minimum Requirements: Five GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent. Experience in an advising capacity (e.g., Employment Advisor, Career Coach, Apprenticeship Advisor, IAG role, Traineeship Advisor) or relevant transferable experience.
