Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) Intern Opportunity
A leadership training program for future executives within Govuni Collective. Participants will gain practical experience in business strategy, financial planning, corporate development, and workforce transformation. Upon successful transition to full-time employment, a 5-20% equity bonus is awarded based on performance and tenure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy & Revenue Growth: Assist in developing revenue-sharing models, negotiating partnerships, analyzing financials, and creating long-term impact strategies.
- Grant Writing & Government Contracts: Research, write, and develop grant proposals (>$500K annually) and proposals for contracts related to staffing, sustainability, and workforce development. Collaborate with relevant organizations like the Texas Workforce Commission.
- Workforce Development & Union Innovation: Support businesses in implementing revenue-sharing and workforce investment programs, develop employer-sponsored benefits, aid in unionization strategies, and assist with employee ownership transitions.
- AI & Business Automation Integration: Learn and implement AI-driven tools (Seamless.ai, ClickUp, Reply.io, Phenom.com) to optimize workforce management, sales, and recruitment. Develop automation strategies for improved efficiency.
- Sustainable Housing & Community Development: Develop affordable, energy-efficient housing projects (utilizing 3D printing and sustainable materials), secure funding for community redevelopment, and support a universal mortgage/rental assistance program.
- Community Engagement & Economic Education: Organize workshops, fundraising campaigns, business development events, recruit businesses for the community marketplace initiative, and create workforce training programs for diverse communities.
