Job Details

This position is at the proposal stage and awaiting award. We are looking for qualified individuals to provide clinical counseling services for The Navy Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a variety of counseling services for individuals, families, and groups.
  • Assessment and short-term, solution-focused counseling.
  • Provide group workshops, individual consultations, and information and referral.
  • Provide outreach to at-risk groups.
  • Provide training, briefs/workshops to Command Family Readiness Groups.
  • Provide Pre- and Post-Deployment SAPR training.
  • Coordinate and manage specialized assessment and intervention services for at-risk children.
  • Report suspected child abuse and domestic abuse/violence.
  • Participate in quality assurance procedures.
  • Maintain data and records in the FFSMIS Clinical Counseling Record System.
  • Participate in emergency response exercises.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • Current, valid and unrestricted clinical license.
  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
  • Meet or exceed the requirements for Tier II qualified clinical practitioners.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
Required Work Experience:
  • Two years of full-time post-master’s supervised clinical experience.
  • Knowledge of state, federal, and local resources.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in the field of child abuse and domestic abuse.
