Part-Time Communications Manager

• Update and execute an integrated communications plan that aligns with LGI’s mission and strengthens the strategic positioning of LGI.
• Develop and implement communications plans for each workstream.
• Create clear, compelling narratives that highlight LGI’s specific offer and thought leadership.
• Manage multi-media content development and digital communications.
• Ensure work product is cognizant of emerging trends in development, international education and communications best practice.
• Manage suppliers for example copy editors, editors, designers, illustrators, video editors and photographers.
• Manage LGI’s mailing list and ensure compliance with data-protection laws.
• Collaborate with partners to align messaging and coordinate joint communications efforts.
• Provide support for LGI’s presence at key global and regional events.
• Monitor and report on engagement and performance across communications channels.
• Support with media relations as required.
• Collaborate with the Education Development Centre central communications team.
• Manage the maintenance of the LGI website.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of LGI’s communications approach.
• Be an active member of the LGI team.

• 8+ years’ experience in communications, advocacy, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Master’s degree desirable.
• Strong project manager with excellent organizational skills.
• Very clear writing and editing skills.
• Proven track record managing digital platforms and creating engaging online content.
