Contractor Contract Node.js Developer

Consulting at CapTech:Partner with clients on team-based projects to deliver solutions across the full Software Development Lifecycle leveraging the Agile Methodology as well as modern technology languages, frameworks, and patterns.Work as a Contract Hourly consultant to complete projects alongside clients and fellow CapTechers.

Required Qualifications:

• Located in the Richmond, VA or Reston, VA area
• Experience building application back-ends with Node.js
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax
• Experience with Express.js or other Node.js frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Vue.js ecosystem (Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, etc.)
• Experience with database technologies, both traditional (RDMS) and current (NoSQL)
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
• Applied knowledge of API Development using REST and/or GraphQL
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, Bitbucket

Preferred Qualifications (nice to have, but not required):

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
• Experience with Java Programming
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Working knowledge of JVM-based languages such as Kotlin, Scala
• Working knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
