Job Details

Contributing faculty members educate Walden University Students using online technology and resources.
Responsibilities:
  • Training: New Faculty Members receive specific training.
  • Dissertation mentoring: Mentor doctoral student dissertation as chair or committee member, serving as qualitative methodologist.
  • Course Teaching: Faculty may teach one course using the Canvas platform.
  • Availability: Faculty members are expected to be reasonably accessible to students.
  • Residencies: Faculty Members may be required to attend Residencies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
Required:
  • PhD in the field of psychology, or developmental psychology.
  • Expertise in qualitative research methodologies.
  • 2+ years online or technology-enabled instruction experience.
  • Adequate computer and reliable Internet access.
  • Significant record of intellectual and professional contributions to the field of Psychology/Developmental Psychology.
  • Commitment to advocating for the learning and development needs of students.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, team, and human relations skills.
  • Experience with distance learning preferred.
