Emerging Tech is looking for a Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making within the NYC Department of Education’s Strategic IT Governance Operations Support Program.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and static reports to monitor project performance, funding utilization, compliance, and other critical metrics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements ensuring outputs align with strategic KPIs and governance goals.
- Analyze complex data sets to detect trends, anomalies, and key insights.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting tools.
- Document data sources, analysis methodologies, and reporting processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting.
- Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with public sector clients or large-scale IT governance/strategic initiatives preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with a focus on actionable insights.
