Role Description
We are currently seeking Technical Assessment Data Analyst Interns to join our team for the summer. The ideal candidate will start in September and work part-time through mid-December.
- Comprehend client specifications and requirements and translate them into software and ultimately production ready client deliverables.
- Write Python scripts to perform data analysis and assure the overall quality of the client deliverable.
- Interact with internal and external users to obtain and convey concise problem information in a professional manner by phone, email, and online collaboration tools.
- Currently seeking a master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or a related field.
- Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software and hardware.
- Data analysis experience.
- Python programming experience; knowledge of pandas; familiarity with ReportLab a plus; R programming experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team setting.
- Very detail oriented; strong problem-solving skills.
- Must have data analysis programming experience in Python.
- Knowledge of SQL a plus.
- Comfortable with working remotely, and using remote collaboration tools, including email and MS Teams.
- Reliable internet connection through a cable or fiber-optic broadband service with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
- Active participation in video-based interviews during the recruiting process and ongoing virtual meetings with their camera on.
- Reimbursement to help cover the cost of setting up your home or remote office.
