Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights. Develop and maintain Looker and SQL-based reports/dashboards.
• Data Architecture Design: Design, implement, and maintain scalable data solutions, including models, schemas, and dictionaries.
• Database Management: Optimize database performance. Support maintenance tasks (backups, indexing, monitoring).
• LookML/SQL Development: Develop LookML models for Looker reports. Write SQL queries to extract, analyze, and manipulate data.
• BigQuery Expertise: Utilize BigQuery for data storage, querying, and processing; optimize for cost-efficiency and performance.
• Data Integration: Design and implement ETL processes to integrate data from various sources. Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
• Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with teams (product, technology, finance, marketing, etc.) to meet business needs. Provide technical support for database issues.
• Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain documentation for data architecture, processes, and procedures. Establish and enforce data management best practices.

• Asset manager monthly reporting
• Application audit log enrichment
• Availability grid redesign
• Asset management report automation
• Salesforce application alignment
• Lead qualification scoring & routing

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related quantitative field.
• 2-5+ years of data engineering or data analysis experience.
• Proficiency in SQL, dbt, Python.
• LookML experience for Looker model development.
• Experience with Fivetran, cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), and data warehousing concepts.
• Understanding of data modeling principles, ETL processes, version control (Git) and collaboration tools.
• Data visualization tool proficiency (Looker, Tableau, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Plus: Experience with NoSQL databases, statistical analysis, machine learning concepts, and data-driven presentations.
