Job Details
Our Fortune 100 financial services client seeks a Data Engineer with payments experience to create and deliver Small Business Credit Analysis Reports for banking partners.
Role responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and integration.
- Evaluate third-party data sources for quality, completeness, and reliability.
- Optimize data workflows for credit line assignment decisions and insights.
- Implement validation, transformation, and storage solutions for structured/unstructured data.
- Support data testing and troubleshooting for report accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts for data models, A/B testing, and insights.
- Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies.
Experience requirements:
- 3-5 years as a Data Engineer, preferably in financial services.
- Strong SQL, Python, and data pipeline (ETL/ELT) skills.
- Experience with third-party data vendors and integrating external datasets.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Understanding of credit card line assignment and small business credit data (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Compensation:
- $55-$60 per hour.
