Data & Insights Analyst (2-year Contract)

Reporting to the Data and Insights Manager, the Data & Insights Analyst will provide accurate, timely, and relevant business analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop expert understanding of OFX’s business and processes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and teams.
• Deliver key prioritised business outcomes.
• Work with Risk & Compliance teams.
• Understand and communicate the Data & Analytics Strategy.
• Contribute to the Data & Analytics Strategy evolution.
• Ensure effective data point management and model evolution.
• Drive data model maturity and support future needs.
• Define and set effective metrics.
• Delegate and train individuals across the business.
• Manage and mitigate technology risks.
• Manage technology costs.
• Lead vendor and partner engagement.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years’ experience presenting data analysis to non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced SQL knowledge.
• Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery experience (preferred).
• R or Python programming experience.
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ML development and operationalisation (preferred).
• Risk and Compliance data experience (preferred).
