Data & Insights Analyst (2-year Contract)
Reporting to the Data and Insights Manager, the Data & Insights Analyst will provide accurate, timely, and relevant business analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop expert understanding of OFX’s business and processes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and teams.
- Deliver key prioritised business outcomes.
- Work with Risk & Compliance teams.
- Understand and communicate the Data & Analytics Strategy.
- Contribute to the Data & Analytics Strategy evolution.
- Ensure effective data point management and model evolution.
- Drive data model maturity and support future needs.
- Define and set effective metrics.
- Delegate and train individuals across the business.
- Manage and mitigate technology risks.
- Manage technology costs.
- Lead vendor and partner engagement.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years’ experience presenting data analysis to non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced SQL knowledge.
- Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery experience (preferred).
- R or Python programming experience.
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ML development and operationalisation (preferred).
- Risk and Compliance data experience (preferred).
