Contractor Data Product Owner

We are seeking a MarTech Data Product Owner to support our Fortune 100 financial services client's digital transformation initiatives. This role will play a vital role in support of technological advancements and product implementations across the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Interact with stakeholders on product considerations, vision, features, and roadmaps.
2. Leverage customer insights, feedback, financials, compliance, and risk data to define product features and roadmaps.
3. Establish KPIs and OKRs for the product team and ensure alignment with leadership.
4. Create and maintain product documentation (e.g., customer journey map, technical specs, process maps).
5. Define functional and non-functional requirements (security, availability, performance).
6. Own MVP definition, features, and user stories for roadmap delivery.
7. Build product backlog and prioritize items to achieve OKRs.
8. Hold meetings to update product backlog and ensure alignment with compliance and risk management.
9. Ensure product quality, including security patches.
10. Create and validate user story acceptance criteria.
11. Define and ensure testing frameworks (market testing, functional performance).
12. Work with data stewards to ensure data quality.
13. Inspect and evaluate product progress.
14. Partner with business technology to create technical features and optimize system components.
15. Build a culture of accountability and ownership.
16. Manage dependencies and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or 6+ years experience in Product, Business, or Technical field
• 4+ years of experience in Product, Business, Technical, or related field.
• 2+ years of Project Management experience
• Agile Scrum experience
• Experience with Marketing Technology Platforms (preferred)
• Financial services experience (preferred)
• Experience with RDBMS or Data Engineering (preferred)
• Background in Customer Engagement, Campaign Management, Marketing Attribution, and Campaign Reporting (preferred)
• Proven experience in conceptualizing, defining, building, and releasing data products
• High analytical skills and focus on data-driven decisions
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
