Full-Time Data Scientist - Focus on Engineering (Women Only)

We are looking for a Data Scientist with strong technical skills and analytical vision, who works at the intersection of data engineering and predictive modeling. This person will be responsible for structuring pipelines, automating analytical processes, performing backtests, and contributing with analyses and models focused on the agricultural sector.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines.
• Automate analytical routines and data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Conduct exploratory analyses and prepare data for modeling.
• Conduct backtests and validations of predictive models.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists in multidisciplinary projects.
• Participate in the evolution of the data architecture and analytical infrastructure of the team.
• Translate business problems into data-based solutions, focusing on Agro.

What we are looking for in you!

• Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or related areas;
• Solid experience with Python and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, etc.);
• Knowledge in SQL and manipulation of large volumes of data;
• Familiarity with code versioning (Git) and good development practices;
• Experience with backtests and model validation;
• Knowledge in predictive modeling;
• Communication skills to present technical results clearly and convincingly;
• Adaptability and quick learning.

Desirable/Differential:

• Experience with automation and pipeline orchestration (preferably Airflow);
• Academic or professional experience in Agribusiness;
• Research experience at the master's level;
• Experience with software engineering and Machine Learning engineering;
• Experience working in agile and collaborative environments, with a focus on continuous value delivery;
• Knowledge in other programming languages, such as R, SQL, Scala and Java;
• Knowledge in Hadoop, Spark/Pyspark, Polars etc;
• Knowledge in Cloud environment (preferably AWS).
