Data Software Engineer

As a Data Software Engineer, you will be responsible for collecting, parsing, managing, and analyzing large datasets to uncover valuable insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative technology solutions that support our organization's critical mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, cleanse, analyze, and validate data to ensure integrity and quality
- Construct and apply statistical analysis and models to verify data accuracy
- Develop manual and automated methods to test data compliance and quality
- Ensure data integrity by implementing robust quality assurance practices
- Plan, design, and perform assessments on data elements and structures
- Gather and resolve any missing or anomalous data
- Conduct regular reviews, audits, and investigations of data activity and integrity
- Produce guidelines, documentation, and recommendations for improving data processes
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-15 years of relevant experience in data engineering and analysis
- Proficiency in SQL on a variety of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services and architecture best practices
- Ability to use Git for version control and collaboration

- Experience working independently with limited supervision
