The Role: You'll help standardize and enhance DevOps and security practices. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you'll ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of client applications and infrastructure. Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust security measures, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and proactively address vulnerabilities. Responsibilities:
- Provision and configure AWS resources using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, analyze workloads, and document threat models.
- Regularly assess and patch vulnerabilities in OS, dependencies, and third-party solutions.
- Develop automated solutions for vulnerability detection and patch deployment.
- Enhance logging and metrics instrumentation across applications and infrastructure.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and processes.
- Advocate for and implement continuous improvements in infrastructure and security practices.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficient in Git for version control.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools and deployment automation.
- Experience with virtualizing or containerizing applications (e.g., AMIs, Docker images).
- Production experience with AWS resources and best practices.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automating operations.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected principles.
