We are seeking an experienced Director of Customer Success to lead and grow a high-performing team supporting our Life Sciences clients.
In this role, you’ll own strategic account outcomes across a portfolio of pharmaceutical and biotech customers. You’ll partner cross-functionally to ensure high-impact delivery, drive revenue expansion, and position Datavant as a long-term data partner.
You’ll manage a team of Customer Success professionals, coach for growth and execution, and develop scalable processes.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading a team of Customer Success Managers, ensuring excellence in customer value and account growth.
- Owning customer outcomes across a portfolio of strategic Life Sciences accounts (renewals, retention, satisfaction, and expansion).
- Partnering with Sales and Solutions teams to develop and execute account strategies.
- Building strong executive relationships with customers and guiding strategic business reviews.
- Designing and implementing scalable playbooks, systems, and programs to support customer health.
- Influencing internal stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing.
- Serving as a subject matter expert on healthcare data exchange and RWD.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years relevant experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Consulting, with 5+ years in healthcare or life sciences.
- 3+ years experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Proven track record of owning executive relationships and delivering business outcomes.
- Deep understanding of recurring revenue models and customer lifecycle management.
- Strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and executive presence.
- Experience developing cross-functional processes and success metrics.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and a bias for action.
