Job Details

At Rome2Rio and Omio, we're launching a premium advertising business connecting our global audience with top travel brands. We're hiring a Director of Advertising Product to build the next chapter of monetization.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll shape strategy, scale our ad product portfolio, and unlock commercial opportunities connecting travelers with the right partners.

You'll collaborate with product, engineering, sales, data, marketing, and design to deliver advertising solutions for users and industry partners.

Drive the vision, roadmap, and performance of Rome2Rio's advertising and monetization products. Build scalable ad solutions (sponsored listings, display, targeting).

Collaborate with Consumer Product and Engineering for seamless user-centric ad integration.

Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to align product with market demand and revenue growth. Define success metrics, monitor performance, and optimize using data.

Lead product development from strategy to execution, balancing short-term impact with long-term value. Ensure quality, usability, privacy, and compliance.

Contribute to a high-performing team and grow product craft within the organization.

8+ years in product leadership, with a strong focus on advertising or monetization products.

Experience in transactional consumer environments (travel, e-commerce, marketplace preferred).

Deep understanding of e-commerce user journeys where monetization ties to discovery, intent, and conversion.

Expertise in ad tech, monetization models, and programmatic ecosystem fundamentals.

Strategic thinking and bias for action, with measurable results.

Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and partnering with Sales/Commercial.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Passion for solving complex problems using user-centric approaches.
