Role Overview: As the Director of Strategic Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding key partner relationships within industry leaders (Snowflake, AWS, Databricks). You will oversee partner engagement, from deal registration to enablement and co-sell.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Management: Serve as primary point of contact for strategic partners. Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, field sales teams, partner success managers, and solutions architects. Maintain regular communication with key contacts and senior stakeholders (e.g., Executive QBRs).
- Deal Registration & Partner Portal Oversight: Manage the deal registration process, ensuring accuracy and timely updates within the partner portal. Streamline processes for enhanced partner engagement.
- Funding & Co-Sell Initiatives: Oversee partnership funding allocation, tracking, and management. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify, execute, and optimize co-sell opportunities.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement partnership strategies aligned with business objectives. Monitor partner performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance) to ensure effective partnership initiatives. Provide regular reporting on partnership performance and market trends.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional project teams to design, implement, and refine initiatives. Develop project plans, set milestones, and manage resources for successful delivery. Utilize project management methodologies to monitor progress and address roadblocks.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years in managing strategic partnerships or alliances, preferably in a SI or MSP environment. Demonstrated success in managing relationships with Snowflake, AWS, and Databricks.
- Skills: Expertise in partner portal management, deal registration, funding oversight, co-sell program execution, negotiation, communication, and influence. Ability to analyze data and market trends.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field. MBA preferred.
- Other: Proven ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and operate within ambiguity while achieving measurable results tied to revenue. Willingness to travel and present to Directors and C-Level executives.
