About the job
The Email Marketing Specialist will work under the leadership of DMI Partners’ Director of Email Marketing and will help shape a rapidly growing department of the overall DMi team. As our Email Marketing Specialist, you will drive the strategic vision, manage the day-to-day journey and campaign development, testing (QA), and execution of our client’s email initiatives. Collaborate with clients to define strategic road maps, email journeys, and campaigns that align with best practices and the client’s overall goals. Leverage large databases to drive smarter, more personalized user experience through the client’s email campaigns in their existing Email Service Provider infrastructure.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- You have a working knowledge of HTML & CSS as it relates to email.
- You have experience mapping strategic journey recommendations based on the customer lifecycle, adjusting journey maps based on unique goals or business considerations and optimizing the journeys based on results.
- You can gain key stakeholder buy-in, identify and implement changes to the initial journey maps based on feedback, and ensure the journey map is executable based on technical setup and data availability.
- The journey map you create features personalization through decision splits and personalization within the emails where applicable.
- You possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and push through to the completion of all client projects.
- You have 2+ years managing b2c email marketing campaigns in an ESP like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Emarsys, Adobe Campaign (Classic, Standard or Journey Optimizer), or Klaviyo, including the below areas:
- Journey/Flow/Workflow building with decision splits based on engagement with emails
- Journey entry/audience creation, testing, and deployment
- Exit criteria definition, testing, and deployment
- You provide reporting for the team
- For ongoing analysis & optimizations
- On the high-level performance to share across teams
- To identify priorities based on expected impact
Preferred Skills:
- You can navigate ESP’s such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Emarsys, Adobe Campaign, or Klaviyoto to develop and/or optimize automated flows leveraging existing client solutions and data structures.
- Automations & Queries related to journey building
- Candidates who have completed the Salesforce Email Marketing Certification or other ESP certifications are preferred but not required.
