We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Employment Lawyer to join our legal team.
In this role, you will provide expert legal guidance on all aspects of employment law, ensuring our organization remains compliant with all relevant regulations and fostering a positive workplace environment.
- Interpreting and applying all applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Introducing best legal scenarios and frames, templates on employment and its termination.
- Reviewing and drafting employment contracts, policies, and employee handbooks.
- Providing legal counsel on workplace issues such as discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination.
- Conducting internal investigations of employment-related legal complaints.
- Advising management on best practices for employee relations.
- Ensuring compliance with all labor laws and regulations, including personal data protection (GDPR and other).
- Supporting business with complex employment terminations in different jurisdictions.
- Representing the company in employment-related legal proceedings, including mediation and litigation.
- Developing and delivering training programs on employment law and applicable compliance.
- Developing Compliance framework and governance checklist mitigation and management.
- Developing templates in Employment, Compliance related templates.
- External/Internal Compliance risks identification and management; Legal support of different audits; Due Diligence.
- Develop and implement mitigation for TOP employment and compliance risks.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in law from an acknowledged European university.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an international company in the employment law area.
- Strong understanding of Europe employment regulations, including Personal Data Protection (GDPR).
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in legal research, document interpretation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced certification in employment law and previous experience in corporate legal departments.
- Excellent knowledge of Business, Contract Employment and Social Security Law, Personal Data Protection and regulation of international business activity.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in drafting legal documents.
- Ability to work under limited supervision and accept personal responsibility for task completion.
- Advanced command of legal English. Reading, writing, and speaking.
