Full-Time Engineering Manager, Web Portfolio

TechnologyAdvice is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager for their web development team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of developers for high-quality project execution.
• Develop and implement technical strategies aligned with the Audience Technology roadmap.
• Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the engineering team.
• Oversee development, deployment, and maintenance of web applications & platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design) to define technical requirements.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and technical documentation.
• Guide architectural decisions and lead code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Monitor and optimize website performance for exceptional user experience.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Support team growth through coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of web development experience, 2+ years in management.
• Proven success leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex web projects.
• Strong technical expertise in modern web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Node.js).
• Experience managing websites for large publishers.
• Proficient in working with APIs, headless CMS platforms, and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience with WordPress APIs and headless CMS implementations (preferred).
• Deep understanding of performance optimization, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
• Experience with development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

Compensation:

• Salary range: $130,000 - $170,000 USD per year
