12-week Student Role: June-August 2025. Resume review starts in January 2025.
Biogen Epidemiology Group: Supports Biogen's mission by understanding patient populations and disease burden throughout drug development.
Research Focus: Epidemiologic questions related to neurodegenerative, neuromuscular, and autoimmune diseases, contributing to drug development.
Responsibilities: Conduct research using secondary resources (literature, data), data visualization, and contribute to the Biogen Epidemiology mission. Presentation at the end of the internship.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills
- Biological/medical science background
- Strong written & verbal communication
- Interest in real-world data, epidemiology, health disparities, neurodegenerative/neuromuscular/autoimmune diseases (preferred).
Additional Requirements:
- Legal authorization to work in the US
- At least 18 years of age
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university
- Master's degree in Epidemiology (or related field) and enrolled in a PhD program in Epidemiology.
