Position: Lead Frontend Developer
Location: Fully remote, within GMT (London) up to GMT+8 (Singapore) time zones
Schedule: Full-time
Contract Type: Independent contractor (you must be able to invoice Parseur)
Vacation: 20 to 40 leave days per year (unpaid)
What You'll Do:
- Replace our co-founder as Lead Frontend Developer.
- Be responsible for maintaining and evolving both the Parseur web app (React SPA) and our marketing site (custom static site), ensuring world-class user experience and design consistency.
App (React SPA) development
- Implement new features, design, improve UX/UI, and fix bugs
- Collaborate with the backend team on API integrations
- Maintain code quality, performance, and test coverage
Marketing static site development
- Develop and maintain the marketing static site and landing pages in collaboration with product and content teams
- Design high-converting, mobile-responsive pages
- Optimize for Technical SEO, GEO and Conversion
Additional technical contributions
- Handle Level 3 support: investigate technical issues reported by Customer Success, collaborate with backend team on fixes
- Maintain and enhance public technical documentation (e.g., API references, developer guides)
- Take part in the on-call roster (roughly one week per month, and yes, you'll get paid extra for it)
- Optionally act as a backup for the backend dev (depending on your profile)
About You:
- 5+ years of experience (or equivalent skills) with JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, Tailwind, Node.js, and REST APIs
- Demonstrable experience designing landing/product pages that convert
- Proven experience creating responsive, mobile-first web designs
- Excellent in written and spoken English
- Excellent communicator and team player
