About the role:
Our Research and Development department is migrating to the cloud. We're looking for a motivated software development intern to join a Scrum team.
Responsibilities:
- Improve deployment and integration tools using Docker.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Employ test-driven development (TDD) techniques.
- Develop test automation strategies.
- Review peer code.
- Participate in Scrum meetings (planning, analysis, retrospectives).
- Collaborate on continuous integration techniques and processes.
Skills and experience:
- Strong English communication skills.
- DevOps team experience preferred.
- Knowledge of scripting languages.
- Scrum/Agile knowledge preferred.
- Strong organization and interpersonal skills.
Technologies:
- SQL, JDBC
- VS Code
- Java
- Build and deployment tools (Maven, Docker, Jenkins, Gitlab CI)
- Amazon Web Services (ECS, EC2, RDS, etc)
