Finance Analyst - Dan Murphy's
Provide commercial support and advice to the Dan Murphy's Operations Team, focusing on store wages. Use data to drive performance reporting, planning, and insightful analysis to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and distribute weekly/monthly store wage performance reports & analysis.
- Handle month-end journals, result reviews, reporting, and forecasting.
- Support Simpler For Stores team to understand store wage impacts and ensure budget/forecast accuracy.
- Manage store wage budget and forecast processes, understanding cost per hour and hours worked drivers.
- Improve and automate existing, and develop new reports to provide timely & insightful data to Operations stakeholders.
- Communicate commercial impacts of past & future activities.
- Contribute to team objectives: review store profitability, conduct competitor analysis, identify risks & opportunities in Cost of doing Business.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with Operations or Retail experience preferred.
- CA / CPA qualification preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills & ability to build strong relationships.
- Strong data analysis & modeling skills.
- Strong organizational & time management skills, able to handle pressure.
- Proficient in financial systems like Excel, SAP, Tableau.
