As a Freelance Data Annotation Specialist, you will prepare and curate linguistically and medically oriented datasets in Italian or Portuguese. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong linguistic background.

- Prepare and maintain medically oriented datasets for machine learning purposes.
- Follow and provide feedback on annotation conventions.
- Perform audio transcriptions in Italian.
- Implement text patterns to detect and extract named entities.
- Contribute to dictionaries and taxonomies in Italian or Portuguese.
- Evaluate the correctness and accuracy of words and text structures.
- Deliver high-quality work within established deadlines.
Requirements:
- Native Italian and/or Portuguese speaker and Full Professional Level of English
- A degree or strong background in linguistics, computational linguistics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with medical terminology or prior experience in the healthcare domain.
- Hands-on experience with data annotation, transcription, and labeling tools.
- Proficiency in working with text patterns and dictionaries for NLP purposes.
- Exceptional ability to assess and improve data quality.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
