Ideal candidates will have experience working in an agency or consultancy environment, developing large scale and complex solutions, with a focus on innovative and intuitive front-end user experiences, and high standards for flawless code.
What You'll Do
- Support the planning, development, testing, and delivery/deployment of solid, structured, and standards-compliant web and mobile interfaces
- Understand our clients needs and requirements, and the technical opportunities and challenges that exist within their categories
- Participate in project ideation sessions, workshops, and roadmapping, collaborating in strategic planning that drives innovation from a development perspective
- Work with the project team to validate goals and requirements, and provide input towards practical solutions, innovations, and estimation of effort and time
- Write, test, refactor, and optimize code to achieve high benchmarks for performance, and strive to make quality assurance a top priority
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and patterns, and support the development of standards and processes that contribute to an environment of continual improvement
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years experience prototyping and building web and mobile experiences
- A portfolio of work that shows an ability to develop against detailed design specifications
- Experience working in agile teams, participating in scoping, estimating, and road-mapping of development efforts
- Experience with dev tools like Git, Tailwind, Webpack/Vite, Figma, Netlify/Vercel
- Experience with CSS and JavaScript (ES6, Typescript, ReactJS, Vue.js), and building out extensible and modular design systems
- Experience implementing traditional and headless CMS (Sanity, Contentful, Craft) with front-end meta frameworks (Next.js, Nuxt.js)
- Experience implementing e-commerce platforms including Shopify and BigCommerce
- Experience building to usability and accessibility standards through testing and optimization
- Experience with web performance and optimization techniques and implementing analytics tools, tags. and event tracking from spec
- An openness to learn and grow in a fast paced environment
